Welcome Dr Laura Levitus

We would like to welcome Dr Laura Levitus to the practice. She joins us from Monday 7th August, 2023.

Laura completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Deakin University in Geelong. She completed her internship at Bendigo Health in Victoria and then moved back to her home town of Sydney, where she worked at Westmead Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospital. 

Laura enjoys all areas of medicine and family care, and loves the variety and continuity that working as a GP brings. She is supportive of vulnerable or disenfranchised populations, such as those experiencing drug and alcohol issues, and the LGBTQI+ community. She also has a particular interest in Palliative Care, having achieved a Diploma of Palliative Medicine at St Vincent’s Hospital. 

Prior to practising medicine, Laura worked in the arts sector and still loves going to shows and performances in her spare time. She is now in her final term as a GP Registrar, and is looking forward to completing her training at Criniti Medical Practice. 

Dr Levitus will be working at the practice every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
